25 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
This is a fun class for learners that enjoy talking and sharing things that they know about. Each week there will be a new topic and learners will get to talk about the topic. They may bring an object to class that is related to the topic. Each learner will have a chance to speak. Learners will be encouraged to speak, but not forced. This is a fun, relaxing environment. Sharing with each other will help them build their vocabulary around the topic and help them to communicate their thoughts clearly so others understand. This is a great class for learners who are English language learners and need an opportunity to practice their English skills. It is also a great class for learners who are native English speakers and love to share about what they know. During the class, I will ask questions and show pictures about the topic. Topics: July 25-31 -An object made from nature August 1-7 - Show two things that are opposites and tell how they are different August 8-14 - Legos - Build something with bricks (legos) and show us! August 15-21 - Video Games - Tell us about your favorite video game (please make sure it is age appropriate) August 22-28- Pets - Show us your pet, or a pet you would like to have August 29-September 4 - Show/Tell your favorite food September 5-11 - Three Wishes - If you could make 3 wishes, what would they be? September 12-18 - Show us your favorite art work *Please check individual class schedules to make sure you have class for the week. Topics of discussion may change based on group interests.*
