"I SPY" Colors & Shapes around Us Who's excited about playing games with friends? Would you like to join us in finding colors and shapes around us? This is a one time class focusing on colors and shapes for Preschoolers. Students will use their surroundings finding objects asked by the teacher. Students will take turns presenting the object and describe it according to its color and shape. Students will be greeted and encouraged to engage in conversation as if they are in a regular preschool classroom setting by encouraging raising a hand for the turn. The class will be full of songs, fingerplay, and visuals supporting student learning. Class Contents: Colors: Identifying 11 Colors, Sorting objects according to colors Shapes: Identifying 2D shapes, Sorting objects according to shapes
Learning Goals
Students will be engaged in various activities applying their knowledge of shape and color.
