PLEASE NOTE: Classes in January 2020 are 30 minutes, but will be extended to 35 minutes starting in February 2020. This is a one-time course in the style of I SPY or Where's Waldo... except in ancient Rome! We will learn about different elements of ancient Rome, including temples, pottery, chariot races, myths, and more! I will share my screen for part of the class so we can all see the images. As we learn about each one, we will try to find them in a picture showing daily life in ancient Rome. As we play the game, I invite the children to take turns, ask many questions and share anything they already know!
Learning Goals
This fun game will give learners an opportunity to:
- learn about ancient Rome's customs and society
- practice taking turns as we ask questions and spy different parts of ancient Rome
