We will spend the majority of the class speaking English. In the first week, we will talk about their interests and hobbies. They will tell me what they like to do in their leisure time, and I will go over the schedule of an average American child. We will talk about sports. We will also discuss the family and the names of family members. The second week will be all about school. We will discuss topics and items used in a classroom. We will play games with classroom objects that the teacher...
The goal would be for the students to be able to speak in English with comfort and without an accent in their native language.
I have taught ESL to Chinese students for two years with 51 Talk. I have taught ESL in public schools in the U.S.A.

We will be using some you-tube channels to get American songs and poems. The songs that we use will be simple words normally listened to by children. An account is not required. I will post the song or poem in the classroom. All materials used will be rated "G" for general audiences.
