During this beginner class, learners will experiment with watercolors to create their own favorite flavored ice cream cone. Learners will be taught the basics of watercolors; along with the different types of brushes and watercolor paper available. Step by step instructions will be given as I draw and paint alongside the learners to help them visually see each step. We will sketch an ice cream cone using basics shapes and paint using various watercolor techniques. Tips will be given...

Linda is an artist and has been crafting for the past 25 years. She is experienced in all forms of art specializing in jewelry making, watercolor painting, and crafts of all kinds. She teaches classes at Michaels stores in California. She is an entrepreneur and her work can be found online and in local boutiques.
Watercolor set (Michaels has an inexpensive 36 color palette), or any watercolor set will do. Watercolor paper 6” x 9” Small, medium, and a large paintbrush Paper towels 2 glasses of clean water #2 Pencil Eraser Black felt tip marker (Optional) Masking tape and thick cardboard to tape your watercolor paper to (Optional)
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
