Class Experience
Want to spread joy during this lovely spring season? In this class, we will learn about various watercolor techniques, then utilize our skills to create 4 small masterpieces to gift to loved ones and brighten their day. We will use watercolor paints, Sharpie markers, oil pastels or crayons. rubbing alcohol, salt, and tissue, to create a beautiful textured design on each painting. We will talk about colors and color mixing, and artists will cut their watercolor paper into 4 pieces, and apply...
I recommend using 2 pieces of watercolor paper at least 9x12 inches and 90 lb weight A pair of scissors All are materials are welcome, but I will be demonstraing watercolor techniques using pan watercolors Paint brush 2 waters, one to keep clean, one to wash out brush rubbing alcohol table salt waterproof markers, like Sharpee oil pastel or crayon
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
