If you love dinosaurs, this is the class for you! Learners will begin class with a quick ice breaker to help them get to know each other! They can bring a dinosaur toy to class so that they can share their favorite dinosaur with others. We will read a book where we meet a lot of dinosaurs called, "I Met a Dinosaur" by Jan Wahl. Learners will be encouraged to share connections, ask questions, and make predictions about the story. After the story, learners will draw a dinosaur. They can choose to follow along to a directed drawing or use their creativity to draw freely. Finally, we will write a short story about our dinosaur. If time allows, we will read our stories to each other to share our ideas!
