Class experience
In this course, we will learn what attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder is and ways to manage ADHD symptoms. There will be four lessons, one lesson posted weekly. I'll be teaching the course with short videos done by me, followed by a slide that sums up the content just taught. I will be giving strategies to help manage ADHD symptoms. Students will take control of their ADHD by understanding what ADHD is, how it can affect all areas of life, and how to manage the symptoms.
I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to teach this class to you! I have a degree in Psychology with a concentration in human development and worked in the school system with children ages 3-18 for 9 years. I taught group and individual therapy sessions on a daily basis, and worked with many students who had ADHD, teaching ways to manage and cope within the public school system.
