Description
Class Experience
Students in this class will learn to read words with the short vowel - sound! Class will begin with your student singing a hello song! Next, we will read and write the letter E! We will discuss the way it looks as both a capital and lower case letter. Next, we will discuss the short E sound. Then, we will read short words that include this vowel sound in the middle, such as 'leg' and 'web.' We will also discuss words that begin with this short vowel sound, such as 'egg.' Then, we will...
Students will improve their phonemic awareness as they read words with the short vowel E sound.
