Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their phonological awareness, phonics, sight words, and spelling skills.
I have a Master's Degree in Education, Multiple Subject Teacher's Credential, and a Literacy Specialist Credential. I have taught first grade, third grade, and, currently, fourth grade. Before I was in the classroom, I was a Reading Interventionist at an elementary school as well as a reading tutor for PreK - 12th grade.
Students should reread the class story 3 or more times.
2 files available upon enrollmentStudents need to be in a quiet space to encourage their participation and focus. Paper and pencil / white board and Expo marker Printable resource materials will be used during class. Recommended reading homework should be printed.
Students will be informally assessed at each class.
