Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will improve their reading and spelling of multi-syllable words.
I have a Master's Degree in Education, Multiple Subject Teacher's Credential, and a Literacy Specialist Credential. I have taught first grade, third grade, and, currently, fourth grade. Before I was in the classroom, I was a Reading Interventionist at an elementary school as well as a reading tutor for PreK - 12th grade.
Students should read for 20 every day.
2 files available upon enrollmentStudents need to be in a quiet space to encourage their participation and focus. Paper and pencil / white board and Expo marker Printable resource materials will be used during class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be informally assessed at each class.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
