Intermediate Level
🌸In this class, each week the students will be introduced to five blends or digraph words and work on reading a passage using the five words mixed with simple words such as has, fix, he, can, the, etc. Fluency will build with each class. 🌸Fluency is the ability to read a text accurately, quickly, and with expression. 🌸The order of the class will go as follows: 🌸1. Introduction of the blend/digraph of the day. 🌸2. Google Slides practice/review 🌸3. Take turns reading the five words of the day pointing to each one on their own worksheet 🌸4. Read the passage for the day. 🌸5. While one student is writing and drawing their favorite sentence from the passage, the other student will be reading the passage with me three times. 🌸6. Google Slides review with blends in each sentence. 🌸7. Goodbyes 🌸The class size is small to give time for the students to get more individual and group work together. 🌸I will have a reading passage for each class. 🌸I provide one-on-one classes and esl students are always welcomed to join. 🌸My teaching style is organized and full of fun while being relaxed and friendly at the same time.
