Class Experience
Does your child like to learn things in unique ways? Would you like your child to learn the names of the 50 United States? Come to my classroom where we will use mnemonic devices to learn US states. I will use google slides to demonstrate different mnemonic devices to help them memorize the names of different states. Students will learn different mnemonic devices to help them remember the names of different states. We will be learning a few states each week and I will provide a printable...
I will provide a one-page handout each week to use in conjunction with the video as well as a few handouts to use as practice after class.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Each week learners will take a short 12 question Kahoot quiz on the states they learned to assess their progress. I will also send learners a picture of a random state each day to help them identify the shape of different states.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
