In this class, we will use mnemonics to help your child identify different state capitals from the United States of America. Each week we will focus on 13 state capitals.

Description
Class Experience
Your child will learn different mnemonic devices to help them learn different United States capitals. I will also play a game to test their knowledge of identifying the capital of each state learned. After class, students can use the Kahoot app to go over questions they missed. This class and game will give you a snapshot of some skills your child can improve on to be better prepared for U.S. geography.
A one-page handout will be provided
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
