US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
The Zones of Regulation is a unique color-coded way for students to describe and understand their emotions. Students will learn strategies that work for them. Stories, activities, songs. Games will help the students learn coping strategies. Repetition will help the students internalize the skills. It is important to keep things light and lively.
Learning Goals
Anger/Impulse Management –identifying two situations in which
impulsiveness or anger might control responses, detecting personal
physical signs, which occur before explosiveness or self destructive, de-escalating personal emotions using three techniques.

Learning Needs
This tutoring program was written with those learners in mind. Activities will be planned with each unique learner in mind. Students will be encouraged to participate at their own comfortable level.
Parental Guidance
Students will come to class at varying levels of mastery. Depending on their coping skills, it may be important to have a plan in place to ease students into a calmer state
Pre-Requisites
I would prefer to have spoken with parents before the first class to see what is working or not and to make a shared plan to support the learner
