Are you trying to raise a strong, confident reader? I can help with that! I started my journey on Outschool as an art teacher for young artists. Then, one day my daughter came home from school and said the dreaded words no parent wants to hear: I HATE READING! I knew she didn't mean it. Those were only her gaps in reading speaking for her. As a certified educator for nearly 15 years, my mission quickly changed from drawing with my little girl to filling her gaps and teaching her to love reading again. I did it! And since then, I've shifted my focus to helping other children learn to read as well.

Bringing along with me the same energy I had in my art classes, I do three things to help my students reimagine their relationship with reading. I focus on filling gaps in reading, providing targeted instruction following the science of reading, and I accelerate growth by helping kids make connections between reading and writing. Kids who have gaps in foundational reading skills start to despise reading, even from a very early age. You don't have to let that happen. Sign your child up for private reading coaching with me or try out one of my classes if you're wondering if your child and I are a good fit.

I think you'll be really glad you did!
