Class Experience
Welcome to 3rd Grade Readiness! In this class learners will meet 3x per week to ensure they are ready for 3rd grade. This class includes writing skills, math concepts, science, geography and reading skills. All taught material is concepts taught in 2nd grade. This is a kind of crash course review for 2nd grade. We will meet for 4 weeks so 12 total meetings. Each meeting will cover a different concept and will all come with homework. These aren't things that need to be done before the...
Students will be ready to move forward to 3rd grade concepts.
Teachers have 5 or more years experience.
Students will receive things to complete at home on their own time.
3 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I use my own curriculum. I have been teaching Preschool through 8th grade full curriculum on Outschool for 2 years. I have designed my own curriculum as a homeschooling parent and curriculum developer for the last 8 years. I follow Florida state curriculum standards.
