Description

Class Experience

Students will be able to recognize the parts of the microscope. Students will learn the set-up of the periodic table and be able to draw the basic model structure of any element. Students will learn the three organelles which make the plant cell unique and be familiar with the basic organelle parts and function. Most students will enjoy knowing and learning the medical terms of the human skull anatomy.
Learners will have access to worksheets to help them memorize and grasp the material. Students can use these worksheets how they see fit. Some students wanting to take full advantage of this class will use them to study and reproduce objectives. Others may choose to take the course on an observational level but can keep the worksheets to use in the future. All students will be asked to participate in class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Letter grades may be given upon request. They will be based on worksheets, class participation, and class discussion.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
We will be referring to the Periodic Table, so a nice copy of that to reverence would be appropriate. I will send it as well.
