Students will be given the definition of a hyperbole. Students will use the definition to hunt for hyperboles in text, poetry, and songs. Students will contribute by sharing answers aloud. Teacher will allow students a chance to pick between two options as well. Students will spend 90% of the time answering. Students will be given the option of using the chat of to answer as well.
Students will be able to determine 2 of 3 hyperboles.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
