Has your child mastered counting to 10 or is almost there? This class may be a good next step of beginning course. This course will cover the quantities of basic numbers. The students will learn to visually recognize what quantity of a number means and looks like. They will practice the ideas of one more or one less as well.
Students will learn number quantity up to 10 by interaction with the teacher (me) as well as other learners. Can they recognize what number qualities are? Can they show what one more then or one less then a given quantity is? (teacher will model and provide guadince with this if needed)
Students will need: 1. Their favorite stuffed animal (only one please!) 2. ten of any item (spoons, Legos, shirts, hangers, rocks anything you can find 10 of around the house.) Candy and other food not advised.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
