We will take a close look at the natural, political, and economic world of the Hunger Games. Does the world of the Hunger Games - Panem - relate to the past? Does Panem relate to the present? Only need to read first book/film!

Description
Class Experience
Students will have a chance to learn about and consider various human ideas and social phenomenon through the lens of the Hunger Games novel which they can in turn apply to “the real world” as well.
No homework.
Please read Hunger Games before class!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Through discussion.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
