Description

Class Experience

Students will know their basic rights under Canadian and American law.
I am an attorney with over 20 years of experience gained after earning my Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School in New York. I was also born and raised in Canada and was a recent, 2021, candidate for Member of Parliament. I love the Law and Justice and wish to share my understanding of it with those who wish to know.
None.
A short outline will be provided.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be quizzed using hypothetical examples and a report will be provided based on the results thereof.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will refer to the Canadian and U.S. Constitutions and the Canadian Charter and U.S. Bill of Rights.
