Students will learn about the chambers of the heart and how the blood vessels provide the body with oxygen. The teacher will describe the functions of each organ and how it helps the body digest food and use the nutrients to help the body grow and live.
My background includes teaching science classes for more than 37 years. Body systems are extremely important for students to understand when entering middle school and I really enjoy teaching them. I have degrees in education and a concentration in middle school sciences and I completed a human cadaver anatomy class in college.
Students will be given a link to a Kahoot game to play as a class review.
The teacher will monitor the discussion, giving equal time to the learners to ensure that they understand the content.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
