US Grade 1 - 4
In this four unit self-paced class, students will learn about four different body parts/systems (The Brain, The Eye, The Cell, and skin and nails.) This is a self-paced class, which means there are no live meetings. Students can complete the lessons and activities at their own pace. For each unit, students will be provided with short videos which will include a vibrant presentation about the body system currently being studied. They will engage in hands-on art and science activities to reinforce their learning. They will complete worksheets. Here is the breakdown of the units: Lesson 1: The Brain Students will create a "brain hat." Lesson 2: The Eye Students will create two models of the eye using play dough or clay. Lesson 3: The Cell Students will create 3D models of the cell using materials found at home. Lesson 4: Skin and Nails Students will create 3D models of skin using a box.
