In this ongoing human anatomy class, students will study a new body system each week. These body systems include the circulatory system, respiratory system, digestive system, muscular system, nervous system, and skeletal system. Learners will discover facts about the heart, lungs, brain, bones, muscles, and stomach! I will use games, movement, and slides, including pictures and videos, to engage learners. Week of January 8th: Little Scientists: My Heart Pumps Blood. Week of January 15th: Little Scientists: My Body is Made of Bones. Week of January 22nd: Little Scientists: My Lungs Breathe. Week of January 29th: Little Scientists: My Brain is the Control Center of my Body. Week of February 5th: Little Scientists: My Muscles Help My Body Move. Week of February 12th: Little Scientists: My Stomach Digests. Please note: We will cover six systems. The material will repeat after week six. Prior knowledge is not required for these courses.

I will provide learners with a one-page coloring page each week. Learners should bring the coloring sheet or a blank sheet of paper to class and a writing utensil.
