What types of bones are in our body, and what do our bones do? We will also briefly discuss what happens when a bone is fractured and what happens when our bones don't have proper nutrients. I'm a certified science teacher in Georgia, and I teach high school anatomy to 12th graders at a public school.
I will supply diagrams for students to print prior to the class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Anatomically correct terms will be used throughout the lessons, and we will view diagrams of body systems. I will not be showing real pictures of reproductive organs, but I will discuss uses of the reproductive organs (i.e. the vaginal canal is where a penis is inserted during intercourse, as well as where a baby exits during childbirth.) I am an anatomy teacher and I'm used to some crazy questions. I will answer any questions the students have at any time from a scientific standpoint.
