Class Experience
Do you sometimes feel like you have little control in your life? Do you wish you knew how to improve certain aspects of your life, but you feel helpless to make those changes? Set your worries aside and take control of your life with strategic goal setting! Goal setting may sound overwhelming at first, but I will show you how you can break your Big Goals into Small Steps. You will never have to try to make a giant leap from where you are to where you want to be. You can just take one small...
Students will learn the importance of goal setting, how to set appropriate goals, and how to achieve those goals.
Students will fill in a log of daily progress towards their goal. This should take no longer than five minutes per day.
I will ask students to print a goal pyramid every once in a while.
Learners will self-assess how efficiently they met their goals and how to improve their efficiency in the future. Students will learn to give themselves grace in their self-reflection.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
I do not allow weight loss goals to be set as I am not qualified to help with the psychological aspect of weight loss, nor do I find weight loss an appropriate goal for children. I do allow health related goals like exercising, eating healthier, drinking more water, etc.
