What's included
6 live meetings
3 in-class hoursClass Experience
This class is designed to be Autism friendly and sensory sensitive, so it is meant to be a low-stress and fun environment with flexible class pacing for students. For this reason, the 2 meeting times a week can work as an adjustment timeline for your student. This gives the opportunity to continue any uncompleted activities from the previous class, if needed. The first 2-3 minutes of class will be a virtual welcome circle where students will get to interact with the teacher and classmates. Then, we dive right into our sensory play activity for the day. We finish with cleanup and goodbye til next time! We will meet for 30 minutes, 2 times a week. Each week has a theme for activities: Week 1- Movement Week 2- Art Week 3- STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) Week 4- Crafts
Learning Goals
Students will engage in activities and play to support learning through the senses: touch, smell, taste, balance, and hearing.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Although this class is developed to be autism friendly and sensory sensitive, all children are welcome join no matter their background. As a mom of two boys, one with Autism Spectrum Disorder, I have an understanding of how important it is to include and encourage children who process things differently. It is my goal to help make a safe space for children to be themselves and build confidence.
