This class is an introductory class. I will start by showing the anatomy of the outer ear, middle ear and inner ear. We will learn about how our ears and brain work together so we can hear. We know that high-volume activities require ear protection ....we will talk about the effect of loud music. I will also talk about our balance and how our ear keeps us from getting too dizzy The class is a lecture with some posters and a short video. I like a relaxed atmosphere and encourage learners to ask questions. The learners will interact with students and teachers as often as possible.
Learning Goals
Students will have an increase in their knowledge about their hearing, balance, and the anatomy of the ear.
