Description

Class Experience

The students will learn about a Haiku and will be able to write their own Haiku by the end of class.
The students will not have any homework, but they may be want to create more poems after class or tweak their Haiku.
The students will only need a paper and a pencil to write their poems in class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will be performing informal assessments during class through student participation. There will be a formal assessment as the students read their poems aloud. I will be looking a their poems to make sure their is enough lines and syllables.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
