How to Write in Cursive

In this 13 lesson Course you will learn how to write lowercase and uppercase cursive letters. You will also learn how to form words and sentences.

Homework
1 hour per week. Students will have the ability to practice the letters of the week after the lesson. Extra Practice papers will be provided for students to use. Students can choose to share samples of thier writing with the teacher for feedback.
Assessment
Students can share examples of thier writing for feedback from the teacher each week. This is optional for the student.
Grading
Grades will be proved by student request. Please let me know at the start of the class if you need a grade for the class. Students who would like a grade will need to submit a writing sample each week for teacher feedback.

Class Experience

In this self paced class students will learn  how to form the basic lowercase and uppercase letters in the cursive writing style. You will learn how to connect the letters into words. You  will also work on how to write sentences in cursive.  Students can post questions and work samples to the classroom for teacher feedback.  All work samples posted by Friday will have Feedback by the next monday.

This class has no live meetings.

For each class we will go over how to form the letters and how to connect the letters into words.   Students can share one or more examples of their best letters and word with the teacher.

Teacher will provide practice sheets and videos for every lesson. Please print out your practice sheets before you begin your video lesson.

13 Lessons
over 13 Weeks
Lesson 1:
Lesson 1: Lower case e, l, i, and t
 You will learn the lowercase letters e, l, i, and t. You will write your first cursive words. 
Lesson 2:
Lesson 2: The lowercase letters u, w, o, c, and a.
 You will learn the lowercase letters u, w, o, c, and a.  You will practice cursive words using the letters you have learned. 
Lesson 3:
Lesson 3: The lowercase letters j, g, and d
 You will learn the lowercase letters j, g, and d and create words with the letters you already know. 
Lesson 4:
Lesson 4: The lowercase letters m,n,s, and review of letters we now know.
 You will learn the lowercase letters m, n and s and make new words with the letters you already know. You will review letters you have already learned.

Print out your provided practice sheets for each lesson.
Bring your favorite Ink or Gel pen.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

 I love to teach different age groups.  I will be teaching classes for the Dungeons and Dragons story telling game. These story driven classes are great for learning  Math skills, Reading skills, Writing, Science, and History. My professional background includes teaching for twenty years.
