Class Experience

This class will teach the basics of writing a wonderful thank you letter.

Class will begin with introductions and a discussion about why thank you letters are so important.
We will work on the basics - how to address the recipient, where to put the date, and what our goal of the letter is.
We will read the story, "The Thank You Card" by Jan Cabrera.
Students will participate in writing their own thank you letter with paper and pencils during the class.

We will learn how to end our letter and what comes next (mailing or hand delivering) and also identify how the letter made us feel.
