Class experience
Learn how to write an engaging story using 6-trait writing. In this mini course, we will learn through the use of several types of stories: realistic fiction, historical fiction, mystery, adventure, fantasy, and sci-fi.
All educational materials will be provided via download. Please print before the first class. Please see materials section for other materials needed.
Class 1: Writing topic: Developing characters
Structure: A lesson about characters with teacher, and...Student will learn to write an engaging story.
Pencil Access to download, upload and print. Book binding for final drafts (this will be given as homework in the last 8-12 classes): materials for illustrating: crayons, pencils, markers, colored paper, scissors, glue, tape materials for making covers: poster board, card stock, construction paper, cloth, ribbon, wrapping paper, fun tape, string, yard, metal rings, stapler, hole punch
