Class Experience
US Grade 9 - 12
Follows Teacher-Created Curriculum
The goal of this class is to provide students with the tools they need to present their ideas in MLA style of writing. We will talk about the purpose of writing with citations, how to create in-text citations, how to write a works cited page, and what it means for a paper to be in MLA format. This class is a one-time meeting where we will discuss the different elements and cover the why behind them. This will be a lecture style in that I'll be providing much of the information, but we will...
- What is MLA format
- The importance of citing the intellectual material of others
- How to write in-text citations and create a works cited page
I've been a writing tutor at the University level and have taught writing to high schoolers for the past 11 years.
