In this class, students will learn how to write a key word outline using the IEW method.
Class experience
In this class, students will learn the skill of writing key word outlines and summaries from those outlines using the Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) Process introduced in Unit 1 and Unit 2. These two units are the foundation for the entire program. Students will: Class 1: 1. Choose and record key words from a source provided which will help them remember a complete idea. 2. Use a basic outline format called a key word outline from Unit 1 of IEW. 3. Verbally retell the...
Students will need to print out the guided notes provided and bring a pencil to class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
