In this one-time class, I will read "How to Win the Bucks County Fair" at the start of class and then follow with a discussion on earning, spending, and saving. In addition, students will learn and discuss what money physically looks like, as well as the concept of saving money at a bank. I will encourage your student to participate in the discussion on the topics covered in the book - however, if your student would prefer to watch and learn rather than participate, please let me know ahead...
Students will improve their financial literacy by discussing the following topics - money characteristics, earning, spending, saving, and financial institutions.
This class does not involve independent reading or homework.
Please have something to write with and something to write on available to your learner during class.
