How to TikTok Camp: Acting, Singing, and Dancing Lab
In this 1-week camp, aspiring TikToker's will learn to make fun and creative content, how to format, record, and gain an audience as a singer, actor, and dancer on TikTok, all while learning techniques to safely navigate the app.

Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their acting, vocal ability, and dance skills. They will learn how to be a safely use a social media app, learn more about building a positive online presence, gain confidence, and improve their communication skills.
Northwest Theatre Lab's Mr. Nick has more than 15-years of experience as a trained singer, dancer and actor. In addition to his theatrical training, he also has a Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Graphic Design, and Digital Marketing, with a love for creating content and is an advocate for online safety. Mr. Nick has teaching experience in after school programs, theatre schools, public schools, conservatories, and regional theatre programs.
Camp members can expect to spend time outside of class practicing skilss, rehearsing for TikTok recordings, updating their profile on the app, and preparing materials needed for their final TikTok camp presentations.
Please bring a water bottle and a second device (phone or tablet) for using the TikTok app. Make sure you have an active TikTok account and username. Any printable materials are provided by Northwest Theatre and will be available in the online classroom 24-hours before class begins.
Written assessments are available upon request.
4 hours 35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
All campers MUST have an active TikTok account and a second device, such as a phone or tablet to participate effectively in our camp. All campers will need to provide their TikTok account username to their instructor via Outschool email on the first day of camp. These are needed in order to share each campers final TikTok presentation within the Outschool classroom on the final day of camp.
