There are bound to be circumstances when kids have disagreements with adults. These situations are vast and wide but some examples might include: A coach not giving you the playing time you think you deserve; A teacher who routinely fails to show up to extra help sessions you schedule, or your Aunt who calls you by a nickname you don't like. Speaking to an adult is not easy for many kids. The goal of this class is to give students the tools and confidence they will need to successfully and respectfully speak to adults.
Students should come to class with the following 1) Pen and Paper 2) A great attitude 3) A willingness to participate and offer constructive feedback to their classmates.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be assessed by me (The Teacher) and their classmates. This will be done in a very informal manner with strict ground rules.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
