In this one time class, students will practice role playing, journaling, and active listening skills to help them communicate effectively with others. A strong emphasis will be placed on social emotional learning.

Class Experience

Students will improve their ability to communicate effectively with others by practicing active listening, and both verbal and nonverbal communication. The outcomes of this class may include, but are not limited to an improvement in your learners' ability to express how they feel, an improvement in listening skills, and increased patience. 
Students will walk away with skills they can implement in their daily lives RIGHT away to be more effective communicators. 
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
  • Google Slides
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
