In this one time course, students will learn how to write an excellent personal narrative.
Class experience
It can be difficult to correctly write a personal narrative. First, we will define what a narrative essay entails. An effective personal narrative has to make the reader feel the emotion of the essay. The reader has to be able to share in the experience of the writer. We will practice ways to "show it" instead of just saying it. Then, we will analyze an excellent example of such an essay.
