In this one time class, learners will hear real life examples of people who overcame painful shyness. Learners will tips that can help deal with situational shyness, have an easier time at making friends and participating in social events.

Description
Class Experience
Students will learn strategies to feel more comfortable approaching and responding to people in social situations and they will practice initiating conversations and responding to others in a way that is conducive to getting along and setting the first step towards meeting new friends.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Stories of people who struggled with shyness in the past (including myself) will be discussed in class. This could be a trigger for some learners. Also, please note that the students will be prompted to initiate a conversation with at least one of their peers.
