Solving equations is one of the very basics of Algebra. This class will help your learner develop a strong foundation in how to solve algebraic equations and develop math reasoning skills. Based on parent feedback, I'm offering this class for students who need more help learning how to solve equations. I'm an active and engaged teacher with my students. This class is taught in English.
Students will be able to solve linear equations in one variable, including equations with coefficients represented by letters. Students will be able to explain each step in solving a simple equation.
Homework Offered
10-15 practice problems are assigned after each session. Worked out answer keys will also be provided so that students can check their work and find any mistakes. Homework will take approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
