Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this class your student will learn how to ask basic questions/give greetings and some short responses to those questions. Examples of what we may learn: How are you? Nice to meet you What's your name? How old are you? Do you have any pets? What's your favorite animal? What's your favorite color? Of course the sentences and responses we learn will be dependent on how many students and how long it takes on each sentence. The goal is 3 or more sentences along with possibly one or two responses for each. At the end of the course I will make your student a certificate of completion. I am a pretty relaxed teacher and can change the course based on the students I have at the time. My goal is to make learning ASL fun and to spark a lifelong desire for learning.

Pre-Requisites
For this class a student should be familiar with American Sign Language. I'd recommend at least knowing the alphabet, numbers, and colors. If they don't I can tailor the class to your students. I can teach basic responses for each question

I have an associates degree in ASL and a BA degree in ASL interpretation. During my associates degree I taught a class of people ranging from 4 years old to 50 years old (or older). We covered topics like the alphabet, numbers, greetings, and some personalized material like religious signs and hobbies. I have also taught people at various points in my life, all ranging from 6 months old to 70 years old.
