How to Sew a Travel Pocket Pillow - Beginner 2 Sewing Ages 7-12
In this class students will create a pillow with a pocket and handle by using a sewing machine they already have experience using.
This class requires beginner sewing machine knowledge: threading a machine, sewing straight lines, and sewing corners. If your student has done these techniques before he or she will be successful in this class. If your student requires this knowledge, please see my Introduction to the sewing machine class. Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parents, please ensure your student is placed in front of a table or desk where the sewing machine can be comfortably reached to ensure safety. Your student will need to be in an appropriate seat to be able to reach his or her foot pedal as well so they can safely start and stop the machine as needed.
