What exactly are sentences? What's the point of them? Why do we need to know how to write them? What parts do sentences need? These are some of the questions that will be answered in this class. Sentences might seem simple, but grasping the way the words fit together is not as simple as it seems. The way words are put together are essential to communicate meaning. Sentences are the building blocks of all writing. Mastering sentences will lead to longer pieces of wonderful writing. In this class we will first take 15 minutes learning how sentences are constructed. We will practice recognizing the important parts to have a complete sentence. The next portion of the time will be used with the students brainstorming and collaborating to figure out what their sentences will have in them. Students will each contribute their own creative ideas. Finally, we will write our very own sentences and label the parts. . This class is highly interactive and fun. Join us! Wild and Unstructured is committed to providing a safe space for any learners of any abilities. Join us!
