US Grade 1 - 4
Reading is an amazing opportunity for siblings to bond and enrich their experience together! Sometimes when there is an age gap, it’s difficult for kids to find things in common that they can do together, but reading is something for all ages. In this class, we will go over some tips and tricks to getting more out of your reading sessions to help promote creativity, communication, and learning. Students will learn how to ask questions, check for understanding, and expand on what they see. Students are not required to know how to read out loud to succeed in this class. You can engage with books through pictures and creating your own story. Let’s make reading to our younger brothers and sisters FUN!
Learning Goals

The tips and tricks we will use in class are the same tips and tricks that I use every day as a professional, and are simple and easy enough for kids to learn!
