Using multiple games during this class, the student will identify the minute and hour hands on an analog clock, read the hour and minutes to the 5's and write the time digitally. *Some students might need multiple lessons to reach the goals

Using many props, visual aids, the build in whiteboard of Zoom, and humor (of course!) the student will be capable of reading the time to the 5's, record the answers on pencil and paper, and share answers by the end of class. My goal is to create a memorable experience for the student. Although reading time is a serious topic, I believe that playing games is the best way to learn! I am full of energy and ready to have a great time with your child. No matter the level of excitement of the student, I always find a way to finish the class with a content and happy learner! No previous experience in telling time is necessary for this lesson. Don't see a time that works for your learner? Please feel free to make a request!

Hello! My name is Amelie Vallieres and I am glad you stopped by my profil! It would be a joy to have class with you. I love to teach, it is my passion! I have been teaching since 2014 after graduated with a bachelor in Education in the State of Florida. In addition, I have conducted classes in schools and online on various platforms. I truly enjoy teaching online and build connections with children around the world. I, myself, was born in Canada, moved to United States for 12 years, then move again back home, in the French speaking province of Québec.
