Beginner Level
This class is perfect for the beginner musician who wants to learn how to read music. Specific topics will include: 1. The Staff 2. Treble and Bass Clefs 3. Lines and Spaces 4. Letter Names 5. Note Values 6. High and Low Notes We will use a Google Slides presentation, including images, diagrams, and videos. My teaching style is learner-centered. I prioritize the students' questions and interests. I believe in the importance of including all learners in the discussion. I am a patient and kind teacher who wants her students to succeed and have fun!

My name is Lynlie Simpson, and I am a music educator. I have a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Music in flute performance. I love all kinds of music, and I am a teacher at heart!
