Description

Class Experience

There are NO live meetings for this class. The material will be posted weekly and you can view it during the week at your convenience. Each week for 5 weeks students will be guided through a variety of exercises to help expand their knowledge of what we draw and get ample amount of time to practice their drawing and painting techniques with videos and presentations that have been pre-recorded. 

Each week will focus on one animal at a time and will be filled with various activities including...

Students will paint a painting using watercolor and various water color techniques. Each student should also be able to leave the classroom more confidence in their abilities to paint and end class with a deeper understanding of what we are painting.

I am a certified art education teacher and English teacher that has been teaching since 2014. I specialize in integrating general subject matter into the curriculum in an attempt to cover multiple common core and general subject matter state standards.

Students will be expected to draw their own piece independently at home using the step by step tutorial posted within the classroom. This should take approximately an hour. The introductory interactive presentation itself should only take 10 minutes.
