That’s right! None of those things are on the SAT *you* are taking! With the new Digital version, long passages are gone. Grammar is no longer a whole “section.” And out-of-context vocabulary questions are simply not on the SAT, they were removed… back in 2016! I guarantee that what you’ll learn in my class will be on the new 2024 Digital English exam. What I’ll do as your teacher: -Make sure you’re familiar with the new Digital version of the exam -Teach you strategies for each question type -Send you tons of passage practice -Track your progress through a pre-test and a post-test (after the eighth class all students enrolled will receive a post-test) What you’ll get as my student… -All the information you’ll need for the new Digital SAT English section, including a run-down of the different types of questions, memorization techniques for grammar rules, and strategies for test day -A teacher who is there to motivate you to keep studying and who will always pick you up when you feel overwhelmed or frustrated (because trust me this test can be overwhelming and frustrating) -A safe judgment-free classroom environment where you learn with and from your classmates What you’ll do outside of class… -A pre-test (which is on the welcome post on the class page) -Homework (usually studying with pre-made Quizlets or passage practice) -Post-test (after the eighth class) ….
